If you visit Banjarmasin, the city known as city of thousand of this river do not miss the floating market, which already has worldwide market. This floating market is located in the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, precisely in the mouth of the river Martapura - barito. Why is floating? ... .. probably already known by everyone, the traders in this market offering his wares to use boats (boats as typical banjo), and similarly for those who want to buy also had to use boats to buy. Unique right?

And more unique again, this market started its activities from 3:30 pm until the sun already started to appear around 6:30 pm. IN this market we can buy barang2 like in most markets, such as vegetables, fruits, wadai (small makanan2 language Dlm banjo), breakfast, and may also buy side dishes (but yesterday I do not look in). And still, when at the floating market we would be visited by penjual2nya aka approached by jukung2 it while offering his wares .. and of course there are also many languages and dialects banjo banjo which is also typical of ...

To reach this market is not so too difficult because the market is located in the city. From the city we just simply go to the area Kuin, precisely to dermaga2 small boats, parkir2 for cars already available as well. Toward Kuin could with Taxi ato private car. And from the dock jukung2 can message / charter boats to the market around 60000/jukung. Then we will be invited Martapura headed down the river which empties into the river upstream Barito. and along the river Martapura we also will be able to see the unique aktivitas2 as well as a bath (there are performances that led to the half-naked here ... wekekekeke .., wash out the trash (weiksss).

To feel the uniqueness of its market again, we can also enjoy breakfast in the morning floating. Yup, there are also available Soto Banjar shop afloat, we are pretty close to the floating shop, yup still on the boats are somewhat gedean course. And after the close we just climbed into boats and a message dach shop. And we'll boats parked next to them ... .. so ... hmmm yummy.
